recently i met a woman from new york and i asked her for whom she was voting in the upcoming presidential election.

she responded: "it doesn't matter because i don't live in a swing state."

"but, why of course it DOES matter!" i retorted in disbelief to her statement.

she asked why in my opinion it mattered for whom she would vote for on november 2nd and i plainly stated: "for if your vote did not matter then would it not be logical for you to not vote on november 2nd? "and, if in fact your vote does not matter and you did not vote on november 2nd, and if others in your state felt the same as you, wouldn't new york then become a state in play?"

she thought about it for a moment and had no comment.

in this election, more so than in any other election of the recent past, EVERY vote does matter. don't ever think, just because you don't live in a swing state that your vote doesn't matter.

vote on november 2nd.
