Candidates for a California teaching credential must pass a battery subject matter competency tests. For me the subject matter is social science (history, civics, economics and geography). I took three tests and the above result is my notification of success for subtest two, the last of three tests I passed.

Passing the CSET (California Subject Exam for Teachers) exam was one of the high hurdles I looked at with trepidation at the beginning of this process to become a credentialed teacher. Now it's finished and another goal has been reached.

Student teaching is on the radar for February.
