A professor at Columbia University in New York described the University of Phoenix's business degree as "M.B.A. Lite."

"'Their business degree is an M.B.A. Lite,' said Henry M. Levin, a professor of higher education at Teachers College at Columbia University. 'I’ve looked at their course materials. It’s a very low level of instruction.'"

Apparently, the U of P, which is the largest university in the United States, has a graduation rate of 16%, which is lower than other public universities.
